Labour Markets and Social Insurance
Oliver Schlenker joined ZEW’s Research Unit “Labor Markets and Social Insurance” in May 2021. His research interests lie in the fields of labor and health economics. More specifically, his work focuses on the health and economic consequences of technological change for employees. Furthermore, he conducts research on the provision of medical care in general and the implications of a shortage of medical personnel for patients in particular.
Oliver Schlenker received his Master of Science in Economics from the University of Konstanz and the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Konstanz under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Findeisen. In addition, he is a research fellow at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” in a research project on digitalization, automation, and the future of work in post-industrial welfare states.
