The following aspects were studied within this project:- Overview over the subsidies of bioenergy sources in Germany and – schematically – in other countries- Analysis of the land use for bioenergy sources over time- Analysis of the interdependence of usage and subsidies of bioenergy and the prices of agricultural products- Development of recommendations for action for decision makers in energy policyIn addition to an overview over existing literature and data, we carried out original analyses and draw conclusions which will be prepared for political assessment.
