Education and wage inequality in Europe

Education and wage inequality in Europe

The aim of the project is to undertake an in-depth analysis of the interplay between educational expansion and wage inequality in Europe over the past few decades. The novelty of the research is that it analyses the underlying patterns and trends in both between-groups and within-groups wage inequality and looks for major policy-relevant explanations for the obtained findings. All the analysis is undertaken with respect to three dimensions: education level, birth cohort and gender. More information can be found on the project web site: http://www.etla.fi/edwin.
