The aim of this research is to collect data on innovation activities of the business enterprise sector in the State of Thuringia in the years 2022 to 2024 as well as the planned innovation activities in 2025 and 2026. For this purpose, the German Innovation Survey 2025 is complemented by a special sample of firms from Thuringia. This additional innovation survey for Thuringia fully shares all methodical elements of the German Innovation Survey in terms of sampling, questionnaire, survey methodology, data processing and data analysis). Weighted results are reported for the population of enterprises in Thuringia with 5 or more employees in manufacturing and business-oriented service sectors and compared to the results for enterprises in Germany and the other East German States.
