Carolyn Fischer, PhD, was visiting researcher at the ZEW Research Department "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management" from July 2-4, 2012. She is senior fellow at Resources for the Future (RFF) in Washington, DC. Her research interests include air quality, climate change, development and environment, ecosystem management, food and agriculture, forests, policy instruments, and transportation. During her stay at ZEW, she was working on the SEEK research project "Competitiveness Impacts in a World with Uneven Carbon Constraints: Examining the Implications of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme on Energy-Intensive Industries".
