SEEK Closing Workshop on Corporate Social Responsibility and Credit Costs

The closing workshop of the SEEK project "Corporate Social Responsibility and Credit Costs" took place at ZEW on September 16, 2013. The international workshop was organised in the framework of the "Strengthening Efficiency and Competitiveness in the European Knowledge Economies" (SEEK) research programme by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and project partners in Mannheim. They presented and discussed the project results. At the workshop, the new network "European Responsible Investments & Institutions Conference" (ERIIC) was founded. The network will particularly address research on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and finance. One objective of the network is the realisation of an annual conference on this topic. The major international conference will be organised on a rotational basis in Groningen, Hamburg, Maastricht, Mannheim, Navarra, Paris, and Reading. The call for papers for the first conference in autumn 2014 will be published shortly.
