New Version of ZEWeNEWS Available for Download

Readers are now able to access research results and analyses, comments and events, as well as other interesting news from ZEW in the ZEWeNEWS format – an interactive app designed for all current iPad and Android tablets. The digital magazine contains articles selected from the printed ZEWnews, which is published ten times a year. It also features additional information and content such as videos, picture galleries and links to recent ZEW publications.

In this year's first issue, readers will learn how additional charges on coach tickets can help offset carbon emissions in the German long-distance coach market,  which German region has, according to the ZEW Regional Ranking, a particularly attractive labour market and why the idea of a pan-European unemployment insurance is in trouble. The app also contains a video clip and photo gallery from  ZEW’s lecture series First-Hand Information on Current Economic Policy as part of which Timotheus Höttges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG, offered a glimpse into the digital future.
