Download Monthly Updates from the ZEWeNEWS

Research results, analyses, comments, events and other interesting news from ZEW are available in the ZEWeNEWS format – an interactive app designed for all current iPad and Android tablets. The digital magazine includes selected articles from the printed German ZEWnews, which is published ten times a year, and features additional information and contents such as videos, picture galleries as well as links to the most recent ZEW publications. A new edition of the app is now available with ongoing updates.

For users this means that the ZEWeNEWS will now be issued once a year, but will be updated regularly with new content for you to enjoy. For example, in the August update you can learn more about how statutory maternity leave is encouraging sick mothers in particular back into work, how the strategic manipulation of public spending is linked to local elections and why China is restricting the export of rare earth.

The update also includes a video clip on the EU climate change research project ENTRACTE, which is coordinated by ZEW. ZEW has also produced an animated short film in cooperation with the project partner Eurice and the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy.
