Dates and News

The recently published "Funding Atlas 2015" of the German Research Foundation (DFG) has impressively confirmed ZEW’s strong research focus on European issues. According to the DFG funding ranking, the Mannheim Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is one of 18 out of 89 research institutes in the Leibniz Association to receive more than three million euros of funding under the 7th Framework Programme between 2007 and 2013.

Despite stiff Europe-wide competition with other renowned economic research institutes, ZEW successfully raised EU funds in the region of EUR 4.7 million within the said period. In terms of EU research funds, ZEW ranks highest by far among all economic research institutes in the Leibniz Association and comes 7th among all 89 Leibniz institutes.
