Vivek Ghosal, PhD, Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Vivek Ghosal, PhD, was a visiting researcher in ZEW's Research Department "Industrial Economics and International Management" from October 8 to 13, 2015. He is Professor of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. His research interests include firm strategy related to innovation, the impact of environmental regulation on business strategy, innovation and firm reorganisation, firms' decision-making processes in view of economic uncertainty, and the regulatory reform of competition laws in order to enhance competition and innovation. During his stay at ZEW, Vivek Ghosal participated in the fifth SEEK Conference, presenting a paper on competition and innovation in automobile markets.
