"The Future World of Work" Research Award – Closing Date Drawing Closer

With the aim of supporting up-and-coming researchers in the region, the Volksbank Weinheim Foundation (Volksbank Weinheim Stiftung) and the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) are offering two research awards. The prizes will be awarded to the best dissertation (EUR 3,000) and the best master's thesis (EUR 2,000) on the topic "The Future World of Work". The recipients will have the opportunity to complete a research stay at ZEW.

There is a huge variety of topics for potential submissions, ranging from migration and demographic change to digitization of work. Contributions have to be submitted by October 31, 2016. They must have been completed at a non-university research institution or university either in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region (Mannheim, Heidelberg, Landau) or nearby (Karlsruhe, Darmstadt). Interested people are invited to submit their doctoral and master's theses to the Volksbank Weinheim Foundation. To qualify for the research award, the submitted thesis must have been graded between September 1, 2015, and August 31, 2016.
