At yesterday's Supervisory Board meeting of the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), Dr. Ralf Krieger (51), member of the Board of Management of the Freudenberg SE, was elected the new vice-chair of the ZEW Supervisory Board. Krieger has been a member of the ZEW Supervisory Board since November 9, 2015 as well as co-chairman of the ZEW Sponsors' Association since December 2013.

Besides Krieger, the current members of the ZEW Supervisory Board are: Theresia Bauer MdL (chairwoman), Minister of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, Professor Claus Eiselstein, Director, Ministry of State Baden-Württemberg, Professor emeritus Otto H. Jacobs, University of Mannheim, Dr Gitte Neubauer, Cellzome GmbH, Professor Ingrid Ott, Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT), Götz-Markus Schäfer, Head of Ministry Division, Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance and Economics, Gerhard Stratthaus MdL, former Finance Minister of Baden-Württemberg, Professor Ernst-Ludwig von Thadden, President of the University of Mannheim, Dr Jeromin Zettelmeyer, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
