Determinants and Impacts of Eco-Innovations - An Empirical Analysis for Germany

The project carried out an additional survey to the innovation survey 2009 and analyse it. All firms having responded in the innovation survey 2009 that they have introduced eco-innovations were asked for more specific information. In the 2009 survey environmental innovations were addressed. The additional survey mainly collected information about regulations, impacts on employment and competitiveness. The data allowed analyses for specific technologies such as climate protection or material efficiency.
