Within the scope of a cooperation between the Research Data Centre of the Federal Employment Agency at the IAB (BA-FDZ), Creditreform e.V. and ZEW, the operational data of the Federal Employment Agency, or more precisely its identification numbers, i.e. the company numbers, are to be linked with the company identification numbers of the Mannheim Enterprise Panel (MUP), which is based on the company data records of Creditreform e.V. The aim of this merger is to enable academic data users on the premises of the BA-FDZ to merge BA business and employment statistics with company data held by external researchers and identified by Creditreform numbers.
