Prof. Elena Katok, PhD

Professor Elena Katok, PhD is research associate at ZEW. She works in close cooperation with the research unit “Market Design”.

Elena Katok is a member of the International Faculty at the University of Cologne and a Mago Professor at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Previously, she was a professor at the Smeal College of Business of the Penn State University. She received her PhD in operations management from the Penn State University in 1996.

Her research interests mainly lie in the field of behavioural economics and include works on procurement auctions, inventory management, and contract design, with applications to supply chain management.
