Inequality and Public Policy
Professor Han Ye, PhD is research associate at ZEW. She works in close cooperation with the research group “Inequality and Public Policy”.
Han Ye joined the University of Mannheim’s Department of Economics as an assistant professor in July 2018. She is also an IZA Research Affiliate. She received her PhD in economics from Boston University in May 2018. Her current research interests are labour economics, public policy, and economics of ageing. In particular, she has worked on understanding the labour supply responses of older workers to various policy interventions. Her research covers topics on effects of pension subsidies on retirement timing, older workers’ labour supply responses to unemployment insurance extensions, and employment beyond retirement.
