Jens Bohrmann completed his diploma in business informatics at the Berufsakademie Baden-Württemberg, Germany, University of Cooperative Education, as well as a bachelor’s degree (with first class honours) in business administration (business information systems) at the Open University, London, in cooperation with ZEW. In his diploma thesis, he dealt with the optimisation, design, implementation and continuous improvement of administrative business processes.
While working at ZEW, Jens Bohrmann completed his master’s degree in IT management at the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar (GSRN) and the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). In his master’s thesis, he focused on efficient IT management in small and medium-sized enterprises.
From October 2007 to January 2017 he worked in the work area “Purchase/Organisation”, where he was mainly responsible for various IT projects and IT procurement in compliance with public procurement law. Since February 2017, Jens Bohrmann has been working as an enterprise IT architect in the “General Services” Service Unit. His main focus lies in the development of a digital working environment, the integration of heterogeneous systems as well as the implementation of IT-supported processes.
