Bettina Klose Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Bettina Klose was a visiting researcher in the ZEW Research Department "Industrial Economics and International Management” from 13 to 17 September 2010. She is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Strategy and Business Economics at the University of Zurich. Her research interests include auction theory, industrial economics and political economy. She completed her doctorate in this area at Purdue University in August 2010 under the supervision of Dan Kovenock. During her research visit at ZEW, she examined the efficiency of an auction-like mechanism used to set reference prices for prescription drugs in Denmark.
