Dr. Frank Bohn Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Dr. Frank Bohn was a visiting researcher in ZEW's Research Department "Corporate Taxation and Public Finance” from July 20 to 24, 2015. He is Assistant Professor for Economics at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. His research interests are economic growth, applied macroeconomics, public finance, monetary economics, and fiscal policy. During his visit at ZEW he presented his paper entitled "Political Forecast Cycles, Countercyclical Policies and the Suspicious Unsophisticated Voter", which examines the relationship between ingenuous voters and the manipulation of the election forecast. In addition, Bohn worked together with ZEW researchers on fiscal rules.
