Dr. Mario Liebensteiner Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Liebensteiner was a visiting researcher at ZEW’s Research Group "Competition and Regulation" from March 23 to 28, 2015. He is researcher at the Research Institute for Regulatory Economics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) in Austria. His research interests are in the fields of regulatory economics, international migration, foreign direct investment, and applied econometrics. During his stay, he worked together with ZEW researchers in a project on unbundling of distribution networks. Furthermore, he held a ZEW Research Seminar entitled "Vertical Disintegration in the European Electricity Sector: Empirical Evidence on Lost Synergies".
