Nicolas Classen, PhD, Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Nicolas Classen, PhD, was a visiting researcher at ZEW’s Research Department "Industrial Economics and International Management"on February 4 and 5, 2014. He is Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Department of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, in the Netherlands. His broad research interests include family business, entrepreneurship and innovation. The emphasis of his work has been on how the involvement of a dominant family influences the strategic behaviour and performance of an organisation. During his stay at ZEW, he worked on a joint project with data from the Mannheim Innovation Panel (MIP).
