Paul Beaudry, PhD, and Franck Portier, PhD, Visiting Researchers at ZEW Within the Research Programme SEEK

From March 5-10, 2012, Paul Beaudry and Franck Portier were visiting researchers at the ZEW Research Group "Growth and Business Cycles". Paul Beaudry is professor of economics and holds the Canada Research Chair in Macroeconomics at the University of British Columbia. Franck Portier is professor of economics at the Toulouse School of Economics at the University Toulouse I. During their stay, they were working on the joint SEEK research project "Anticipated Technology Shocks in the European Economies". Furthermore, they participated in the jointly organised SEEK/CEPR Workshop on the role of news, sentiment, and confidence in business cycle fluctuations.
