Professor Irene Bertschek Attends 2018 Digital Summit

Professor Irene Bertschek, head of the Research Department “Digital Economy” at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), presented the main findings of the Monitoring Report DIGITAL Economy Baden-Württemberg today at the “2018 Digital Summit – Economy 4.0 Baden-Württemberg” in Stuttgart.

Produced by ZEW in cooperation with Kantar TNS on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing for Baden-Württemberg, the Monitoring Report sheds light on the current level of digitalisation in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The particular focus of this year’s Digital Summit, held at the Carl Benz Arena, are the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation for small and medium-sized enterprises. The event is part of the “Business 4.0 Initiative” launched by the state government of Baden-Württemberg with the aim of making the state more attractive as a location for businesses in the digital economy.
