Towards a Euro Union

The euro crisis has by no means been resolved. Starting from this fact, a group of eleven German economists, lawyers, and political scientists has drafted a thought-provoking essay on a new and crisis-proof architecture for the eurozone. ZEW's president Prof. Dr. Clemens Fuest is a member of this group.

The Glienicker Group, which is named after the place of its first meeting, published an abridged version of its proposals in an article for the German weekly DIE ZEIT on October 17, 2013.
