ZEW Economist Holger Bonin Appointed to Committee of Enquiry for Family Policy

How family-friendly is the municipal infrastructure in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany? How can family policy respond to the challenges of a modern society? Having been appointed to the committee of enquiry for the future of family policy by the German FDP state fraction, Professor Holger Bonin, head of the ZEW Research Department "Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy" will lend his expertise to resolving such issues. Together with four other experts and twelve deputies, Bonin will analyse the current situation of families and develop recommendations for a more family-friendly environment. The commission started its work in January 2015.
