ZEW Economist Nikolas Wölfing Receives EEX Excellence Award

The doctoral thesis of Dr. Nikolas Wölfing, researcher in the "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management" Research Department at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), has won the EEX Excellence Award of the European Energy Exchange (EEX). Nikolas Wölfing received the award on October 21, 2015, at the EEX autumn reception in Brussels.
The EEX Excellence Award recognises the work of researchers who focus on energy markets and energy trade. The award-winning doctoral thesis by ZEW economist Wölfing, entitled "Interacting Markets in Electricity Wholesale: Forward and Spot, and the Impact of Emissions Trading", was written at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and the Paris School of Economics.
