ZEW Seminar Programme 2011/12 available

The new ZEW Seminar Programme has recently been published. From September 2011 until June 2012, ZEW offers numerous expert seminars on current issues and questions again. Being jointly organised and held by ZEW researchers and experienced practitioners is a distinguishing feature of the ZEW expert seminars. This ensures the combination of current research findings with experience from professional practice.

Offering over 40 events per year, the expert seminars cover a wide range of topics, including econometrics, financial market analysis and management, business management and organisation. As in previous years, the programme includes popular classics, such as the German expert seminar "Konjunkturanalyse für Praktiker: Volkswirtschaftliche Daten kompetent interpretieren" (“Business Cycle Analysis for Practitioners: Interpreting Economic Data Competently”) or the German "Qualifizierungsprogramm Ökonometrie" (Qualification Programme for Econometrics). Additionally, current international corporate taxation issues will be discussed at the Mannheim Corporate Tax Day 2012 (Mannheimer Unternehmenssteuertag 2012). The programme also includes new seminars entitled "Evaluation von Programmen und Maßnahmen" (“Evaluation of Programmes and Measures”) and "Social Software im Unternehmen" (“Social Software in Companies”).

Furthermore, the ZEW Seminar Programme encompasses custom-tailored qualification measures for firms and institutions in English and German.
