ZEW Seminar Programme for 2018/19 Now Available

The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is offering a broad programme of seminars in 2018/19, covering not only relevant economic topics but also many of the soft skills researchers need to succeed. For example, the seminar “Providing Excellent Leadership: A Seminar for Women in Leadership Positions in a Research Context” combines classic leadership principles, skills and tools with insights from the field of communication psychology.

The programme of seminars also includes in-house training sessions specifically aimed at companies and larger institutions. These training programmes are tailored to clients’ individual needs by ZEW training experts and can be provided in German or English. The current seminar programme also contains information on international qualification programmes aimed at experts and managers from overseas.

The training experts in ZEW’s Service Department “Knowledge Transfer & Qualification Programmes” develop these qualification programmes in collaboration with ZEW's research units and external experts from relevant fields. Such collaboration means that programmes are able combine the latest research findings with practical experience in industry. Through these programmes, ZEW provides practical and high-quality seminars on basic- and advanced-level economics, as well as key soft skills. ZEW offers scientifically grounded qualification programmes for specialists and managing staff from all fields.
