Robotics, automation, Internet of Things, and Big Data: industry 4.0 opens up new opportunities for companies worldwide. Driven by the automotive industry, Mexican industry has experienced considerable growth, which presents abundant opportunities for German companies to bring their expertise on digitisation to Mexico – ideal conditions for the information event and cooperation exchange on all aspects of the vehicle and supplier industry in Mexico, taking place on 26 September 2019 at ZEW.
For the first time ever, the manager training programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) – regularly led at ZEW – and its market development programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will achieve synergy. Market development, framework conditions, and business opportunities for German companies in the vehicle and supplier industry, with a focus on the digitisation of production processes, will be discussed at the information event.
Strengthening German-Mexican relations
During the event, participating companies will be able to meet with Mexican companies from the automotive sector, exchange first-hand knowledge, and establish business contacts as part of a cooperation exchange. The executives, who will be guests at ZEW in September 2019 as part of the BMWi Manager Training Programme from Mexico, will share their expertise on current topics such as industry 4.0, the current economic situation in Mexico, as well as report on experiences from existing German-Mexican economic relations.
