ZEW Researchers Present Their Latest Results on Environmental Issues at EAERE Conference

Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) Hosted Online for the First Time

Eleven researchers of the ZEW Research Department “Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management” are presenting their latest work at this year’s digital conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) from 23 June to 3 July 2020.

The eleven contributions of the ZEW researchers address issues such as technological progress, international environmental policy, the successful design of incentive systems to meet the Paris climate targets and the importance of e-mobility.

This year’s online conference freely accessible

The European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) is an international scientific association with approximately 1,200 members from over 60 countries from Europe and beyond. The association organizes an annual conference in order to give its members the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and discuss a wide range of current topics in environmental and resource economics. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s conference with several hundred participants, including many well-known economists, is held digitally.
