The Ministry of Economics develops the draft of an energy-political concept of action for the period up until the year 2020. Prior to the debate in the Cabinet, one formulation of the energy- political concept of action was constructively commented by the ZEW, and discussed with the Ministry of Economics. As opposed to a strictly climate-political view, this concept is to be a perspective, or rather a determination of goals from an energy-political point of view and at the same time, from the point of view of energy supply. Here, the perspective of Baden-Wuerttemberg is to the fore. The focal points of the analysis done by the ZEW were part of the subchapters of the issues “Structure of Energy Supply”, as well as “Economic Aspects, Structures and Competition”.
