Sixth International ZEW Conference on the Dynamics of Entrepreneurship (CoDE)

Conference

The aim of this conference is to discuss recent scientific contributions on entrepreneurial activity, its interdependencies with innovation, environmental sustainability and financial burdens, as well as its challenges for public policies and its implications for employment, income and economic growth.

We welcome theoretical, empirical and/or policy-oriented contributions on all areas of research on entrepreneurship. The conference topics will cover:

  • Business dynamism
  • Direct and indirect contributions of entrepreneurial firms to innovation
  • Transformation through entrepreneurship (green start-ups, social entrepreneurship)
  • Entrepreneurship and digitalisation
  • Migrant entrepreneurship
  • Incubators, corporate and academic spin-offs
  • Scientific research and entrepreneurship
  • High growth and scale-ups
  • Financing young firms: venture capital, business angels, crowdfunding and banks  
  • Employment, wages and workplace quality in entrepreneurial firms
  • Impact and efficiency of public entrepreneurship policies
