ZEW-CS Financial Market Test Switzerland - Slight Decline in Economic Outlook

Economic expectations for Switzerland decrease slightly by 2.6 points in June 2014. The current reading of the ZEW-CS Indicator of 4.8 points suggests that the present positive economic environment in Switzerland will prevail until the end of the year. The ZEW-CS Indicator reflects the expectations of the surveyed financial market experts regarding the economic development in Switzerland on a six-month time horizon.

It is calculated monthly by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in cooperation with Credit Suisse (CS).

The evaluation of the current economic situation in Switzerland is more positive in June. The indicator improves by 8.3 points reaching a level of 57.1 points.
