In order to be able to optimally use the potentials of digitalisation for the economy and society, it is important to fully understand the application possibilities of digital technologies and their impact mechanisms, to make them measurable and to design appropriate framework conditions. ZEW’s research on digitalisation provides business and politics with an evidence-based framework that helps to make informed decisions. The ZEW Monthly December 2022 provides an insight into our recent work on the topic of “Digitalisation”.
