Ann-Kathrin Daubner Is ZEW’s New Head of Human Resources

As of 1 February 2023, Ann-Kathrin Daubner is Head of Human Resources in ZEW’s service department “Central Services”. She focuses on the strategic alignment of ZEW’s human resources policies, recruiting and counselling executive staff, conducting joint appointment procedures for professorships, and cooperation with the works council.

One topic is particularly close to her heart: “I am pleased to be pushing the topic of New Work in particular. Since 2020, flexible and hybrid working models have been in increasing demand from both employees and applicants. I would like to initiate changes in this area with my team to ensure that ZEW remains a top employer for national and international research talents”.

Ann-Kathrin Daubner had been working as a personnel officer recruiting and supervising academic staff at ZEW since October 2019. Before that, she worked in recruitment for various regional employers. In 2015, she completed her studies in business administration at Emden-Leer University of Applied Sciences. Her studies focused on human resources and organisation as well as business informatics.
