In the first semester of 2020, ZEW Mannheim once again offers a wide range of advanced training courses on economic topics, scientific methods and soft skills. In addition to our expert seminars, which are open to the general public, ZEW’s advanced training team has also developed qualification courses specifically tailored to the particular needs of organisations, such as seminars, workshops, training programmes, coachings as well as long-term, international qualification courses.
Thanks to the close collaboration between ZEW researchers, the team of the ZEW Service Department “Knowledge Transfer & Qualification Programmes” and external experts from relevant fields, our advanced training programme offers a unique blend of scientific expertise and practical orientation. With competence and a particular regard for the target groups’ respective needs, the training and qualifications team enables efficient knowledge transfer while also allowing for time and space to cater to and solve the participants’ individual questions and problems.
Open expert seminars: comprehensive advanced training courses, including for researchers
Our expert seminars are suitable for anyone with an interest in developing further personal and/or professional skills and acquiring in-depth competencies. For example, the seminar “Providing Excellent Leadership: A Seminar for Women in Leadership Positions in a Research Context” is specifically tailored to women in research, combining classic leadership principles, skills and tools with insights from the field of communication psychology.

In addition, ZEW offers a wide range of international qualification programmes in English.
