Workshop on Environmental Economics Analyses Using Official Firm Data for Germany (AFiD)

Work with administrative data on a micro-level is becoming evermore important in the field of environmental economics. Such data enable diverse research questions to be addressed, concerning not only the ex-post evaluation of various environmental and energy policies but also the analysis of drivers of productivity growth and improvement in energy efficiency. The primary focus of this scientific workshop is the presentation and discussion of new research findings from the field of environmental economics made using official firm data for Germany (AFiD) from the research data centres of the statistical offices of the Länder. In addition, the workshop shall facilitate the exchange of information between data users and data providers.
