Towards an Integrated Assessment of Economic, Social and Technological Green Transformation Pathways
WorkshopAcceptance and Implementation of the Green Energy Transformation on Multiple Societal and Spatial Levels
Long-term pathways towards a sustainable low-carbon society require integrated activities on multiple societal and spatial levels. The side event at the UN Climate Change Conference (SB48) in Bonn, jointly organized by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), the ifo Institute - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich e.V. and the University of Kassel will provide research insights on the role of policy-makers, companies, NGOs and citizens to put ambitious climate protection into action. In particular, the panel debate will stimulate a discussion on the acceptance and the implementation of different policy options reaching from low to negative emissions efforts on these different levels.
