The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim are jointly organising the fourth conference on "Recent Developments in Macroeconomics" in Mannheim, Germany on July 18 and 19, 2013. The conference is kindly supported by Stiftung Geld und Währung (Financial and Monetary Foundation).

Call for Papers

The conference programme will include keynote addresses as well as presentations of contributed papers. The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim invite the submission of theoretical as well as empirical work. This year’s conference particularly welcomes theoretical and empirical papers with a focus on imbalances on capital and goods markets, labour markets, monetary policy in times of crises, financial stress, economic integration, international trade, and synchronization of business cycles. Submissions of papers in other areas are welcome, too.

Please submit contributions as PDF files to macro-conference@zew.de no later than May 1, 2013.Notification of successful submissions: May 20, 2013

No conference fee will be charged for presenters. The conference fee for participants not presenting a paper is € 100. The fee covers conference materials, coffee breaks, the lunch break, and the conference dinner. Please note that all participants have to cover their accommodation and travel expenses themselves.
