Jacob Schildknecht

Jacob Schildknecht has been a researcher in ZEW’s “Digital Economy” Unit since October 2024. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business informatics at Paderborn University. This was followed by a master’s degree in applied data science at Utrecht University and a second master’s degree in economics with a focus on financial econometrics and macroeconomics at Heidelberg University. In his master’s theses, he dealt with the topics of gaze detection and the effects of inflation on the investment decisions of households.
