Effect of Educational Institutions on Medium- and Long-Term Development of Children

In this project, we aim to identify the medium- and long-term causal effects of attending kindergarten in Germany. More specifically, we will analyse empirically whether longer kindergarten attendance results in differences in cognitive and noncognitive competencies that are still detectable at the end of primary and compulsory education.
