Creation of a Representative Data Base of Young Firms in Baden-Wuerttemberg
The sample for the IAB/ZEW Start-up Panel will be extended so that the start-ups in Baden-Württemberg can be displayed more representatively. The L-Bank Baden-Württemberg is interested in having a micro database at its disposal that enables the quantitative evaluation and impact analysis of funding programmes aimed at the population of young companies in Baden-Württemberg. In 2015, the sample of the Mannheim start-up panel of the ZEW, which was renamed the IAB/ZEW start-up panel in 2016, has already been expanded for this purpose. Since 2016, additional surveys have expanded the sample. In addition, the Baden-Württemberg companies surveyed in previous years will be contacted again and interviewed within the framework of a panel survey. Thus, the development of these companies can also be examined in the time series.
