Funding of Lifelong Learning

The importance of lifelong learning was stressed in the conclusions of the Lisbon summit in 2000. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to increase the level and the efficiency of investment in lifelong learning in European countries. This requires that relevant information on costs and investment is available to policy makers. The aim of this project was to assess the information currently available and set out requirements for future data collection.
