The effects of tax simplifications

In this project measures to simplify the German tax system are identified and prioritised. In addition, the identified measures are quantified and it is illustrated how these measures can be implemented within the legal framework of Germany (inclusive the respective amendments). Thereby, the main focus of this project lies on these measures which can be implemented in the short run - that is within the current legislative period.
