Ninth ZEW/MaCCI Conference on the Economics of Innovation and Patenting

Conference

ZEW Mannheim and the Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI) are pleased to announce their ninth Conference on the Economics of Innovation and Patenting. We plan to meet in person in Mannheim, Germany, but are prepared to switch to a hybrid format in case of COVID-related travel restrictions. The aim of the conference is to present novel research and stimulate discussions between international researchers. Theoretical and empirical contributions from all areas of the economics of innovation and patenting are welcome.

The conference fee is €235 (PhD students pay a reduced fee of €195). This covers lunches, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, the conference dinner, and the conference package. A selected number of travel grants will be available (preferably for PhD students and young researchers). The organising committee will gladly provide you with further details upon request. Presenters may be asked to discuss another paper.
