ZEW Annual Report
OverviewOur Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of ZEW’s research activities, our policy advising projects, the publications of our institute, and conferences and workshops at ZEW. The ZEW Annual Report also contains information on ZEW’s budget, the development of third-party funding, and important events in the past year.
The Middle East conflict, two years of war in Ukraine, four years of stagnation – the increasingly uncertain situation took its toll on the economy and society in 2023. At the same time, Germany and Europe are facing immense transformation challenges with the energy transition and digitalisation. ZEW accompanies these challenges scientifically and provides policymakers with concrete recommendations. With a focus on “Transformation”, the ZEW Annual Report 2023 provides an overview of our work on this complex topic.
