Pascal Ausäderer

Pascal Ausäderer is a press officer at ZEW Mannheim, where he is responsible for the research units “Pensions and Sustainable Financial Markets”, “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” and “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”. In this role, he ensures that complex scientific findings are translated for a wider audience and communicated through the media. He maintains close relationships with German and international media representatives and supports researchers in preparing their findings for target audiences. He also provides in-house media training and contributes strategically to the further development of ZEW’s communication channels. In addition, he supports the ZEW president in his press-related work.

Pascal Ausäderer has experience in communication, particularly in press release writing, crisis communication, media contact management, and the development of PR strategies. He has previously worked for Roche and Deutsche Bahn and completed an internship in corporate communications at Hitachi Energy. Pascal studied political science at the University of Mannheim and governance and public policy at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
