Prof. Dr. Xiaobo Zhang

Professor Dr. Xiaobo Zhang is research associate at ZEW. He works in close cooperation with the research unit “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics”.

Xiaobo Zhang is a chair professor with the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute in Washington, D.C., and editor-in-chief of China Economic Review. He holds a PhD in applied economics and management from Cornell University. His main research focus is the Chinese economy and development economics, including innovation and entrepreneurship. He cooperates closely with ZEW’s Research Unit “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics”.
