Prof. Dr. Ravi Kanbur Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Professor Ravi Kanbur was a visiting researcher in ZEW's Research Group "International Distribution and Redistribution" on January 7 and 8, 2016. He is T. H. Lee Professor of World Affairs and Professor of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University in Ithaca (US). Since beginning of the year, he has also been Chair of the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER).His research interests lie in the field of public economics, development economics and economic theory. During his stay, he worked with ZEW researchers on the empirical evaluation of income distributions according to various ethical principles.
