Successful Participation in the World’s Largest Environmental Economics Conference

The team from ZEW’s “Climate and Environmental Economics” Research Unit was once again strongly represented at the annual conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) in Leuven, Belgium, from 1 to 4 July 2024. At the world’s largest environmental economics conference, eight researchers from the ZEW presented their latest research on pressing environmental issues.

The ZEW climate and environmental economists discussed contributions on topics such as voluntary carbon offsetting, emissions regulation in aviation, and energy efficiency in low-income households. The conference again offered ample opportunities for scientific exchange and networking with international experts.

The ZEW team looks back on successful days, further solidifying its position as one of the leading research institutes.
